Borner Z122 .177 (4.5 mm) Air Pistol

The Borner Z122 belongs to the Borner Classic Series — a CO₂-powered 4.5 mm BB air pistol inspired by the Sig Sauer P226. Its lightweight polymer/ABS construction keeps the pistol easy to handle while preserving the general look and full-size ergonomics of the original service-pistol design.

The Z122 features a fixed-slide, non-blowback system, a smoothbore barrel, and semi-automatic operation. Its trigger system allows the pistol to fire with each pull of the trigger, while the fixed slide keeps the mechanism simple and efficient by directing CO₂ power to the shot rather than to slide movement.

Powered by a standard 12 g CO₂ cartridge, the pistol uses a detachable 20-round magazine for 4.5 mm/.177 steel BBs. Listed muzzle velocity is around 120–128 m/s, with muzzle energy up to 3 joules, making it suitable for informal target shooting and recreational plinking at short distances, typically around 10 meters.
